Initial situation
The Swiss Resort São Roque is located only 60 km from São Paulo, South America’s largest metropolis and the financial heart of Brazil. With the city center just a one hour drive away, the resorts’ wide array of activities and its peaceful surroundings will appeal to anyone looking for a getaway from the city hectic.

Concept
Individual residences are located on the hill sides around the historic farmhouse (pousada) and allow privacy in the midst of a natural environment. On several locations, “communities” are being established: groups of specific housing types where residents can enjoy all the luxuries of the resort without losing social contact with friends and family. The Resort center, with all its amenities, is the heart of the development. Here, one can find facilities for all kinds of sports. The restaurant and bar are located on the lakeside next to the health center and the pousada. What makes the Swiss Resort stand out among other resorts in the São Paulo region and even in Brazil is its focus on Sustainability. The whole resort, from concept to construction is built around the idea of achieving carbon neutrality while preserving the surrounding nature.

Realization
A development plan and external infrastructural upgrades, including a direct connection to the highway, are already being negociated with the local municipality. Initial investments will be used to develop the first part of the project: the resort center and the first “community” with private residences. Once the community is established and put on the market, the Swiss Resort brand will become known and demand will increase. With the development planned in several stages, varying investment opportunities are available during the full duration of the project. The Kick-Off investment will be 15m USD for the common areas and 10m USD for developing the first “community” in the Resort.
